    What is dresscode for us? Can we wear jeans shirts or we have to be in formal everytime?

      No dress code.

      There is no specific dress code in infosys .Its upto you .You can wear formals /casuals.

      But you are not permitted to wear torned jeans,bathroom chappals ,floaters etc.

      Male Trainees should wear closed shoes to enter into Training centre ,GEC. Girls have relaxation in this rule..

      Infosys has removed dress policy and encouraging #DressSharp.

      Dress code generally infers wearing formals but with new policy you are allowed to wear following on any working or non-working day:

      Men:

      Western and Indian Business formals , Smart casuals, Jeans/Cargos/Chinos , T-Shirts , Shirts (Full/half sleeves), closed shoes.

      No my friend ..you can access internet only in your class room
      and you can only browse limited websites (study related stuff)
      such as Wikipedia, Tutorials point etc.

    Can I get holidays in training period as it is mentioned in OL that we have 4 holidays in first quarter of the year? If there will be a solid reason?

    And why can't we carry laptops with us even in our hostel?

      Hi Jatin... Frankly speaking its' impossible to take leave during training period.
      Your leave will be approved only if u have a very strong and valid reason other wise no chance.


      Laptop's are strictly not allowed, From the perspective of most companies, the real question is why would it be allowed? Since there is no business need for you to bring your personal computer

      There is always risk when you bring personal laptop :

      • Using company network bandwidth for personal business (you think, "Well I don't use too much" but make that times every employee in the company and it could be potentially very costly)

      •Doing work for pay for other companies as a freelancer during work hours

      •Possibility of introducing a virus

      •Possibility of industrial espionage

      •Possibility of the person doing non-work related things during work hours.

      •Possibility of person accessing things he should not in the work place (such as porn) during work hours

      Post joining Infosys, pass Infosys Generic training and a test on the subject you undertook the Nanodegree in, Your training period will reduce by 8 to 10 weeks.

      Infosys will reimburse the entire Nanodegree program fee (applicable only if after successful graduation from the Nanodegree).

      This is how Udacity Works:

      1)Get Infosys Offer
      2)Select your Program
      3)Pay and enroll
      4)Join training at Mysore campus
      5)Complete your projects
      6)Complete training, get refunded, get deployed.

    I heard we need degree certificate at the time of joining, in case we don't have degree certificate we need to show them provisional degree certificate. I haven't got degree certificate and provisional degree certificate I have lost. I have all my semester marks card. Will there be any problem?

      Degree certificate is not mandatory, Provisional will also do the work.
      If you don't have provisional also then it can be a problem.
      check with your college for provisional certificate and get it ASAP.

      Make sure you have Degree or Provisional certificate before you leave for Mysore Training.

    The hospital from where I got my medical fitness certificate issued mentioned my first name only in the medical fitness certificate i.e. Mr. Swapnil. But, my candidate id is correct and I have the sign of the doctor and the certificate is printed on the hospital letterhead with proper stamp and with all the reports of my tests. Will it be a problem if only my first name along with my candidate id is mentioned on the certificate? I mean, everything is ok but only the name is written as Mr. Swapnil.

      It's not an issue as your candidate id and other info. is correct, but to be on safer side you can contact infosys helpdesk.
